since our last full length album (1995) we worked on various projects, recorded a to date unreleased ritual of acoustic songs in the cult chamber of a castle and prepared for our best, most passionate, brutal and definite material so far, here it comes

the song cycle presented here, entitled The Lesser Travelled Seas, is the summary of all that CC represent, it is the diary of our past years, the force and form of esoteric Deathrock
effective songs, riff-orientated Death Metal, passionate words and weird ideas
the most heavy and brutal CC songs ever; and the three acoustic guitar songs (already a CC trademark) give the whole thing a completely different and even stranger twist
